OUR STORY
Bed & Breakfast De Stadsboerderij was taken over by Lee and Jeroen Bots in July 2022. They hold hospitality in high regard and will ensure that you have a pleasant stay in Kampen.
Lee
Born in the countryside in Sisaket, Thailand, Lee moved to Bangkok at a very young age, where at the age of 20, after a brief job as a sales clerk, she opened her own shop, which she has run for over 25 years.
Lee is sweet (says Jeroen) and can cook delicious Thai food (says Jeroen).
Jeroen
Born in Bemmel but raised in Breda, Jeroen also started for himself at a young age, first in the printing industry and later in publishing. Jeroen is impatient (says Lee) and his hobby (sport he says himself) is billiards*.
Lee & Jeroen
After a long-distance relationship of a few years, they got married in 2018; in January of that year for Buddha and in April of the same year for Dutch law.
They enjoyed living together in Breda, but after Jeroen’s retirement, the desire to do something together grew. After a long search and deliberation, bed & breakfast De Stadsboerderij in Hanseatic city Kampen was acquired in July 2022.
*The Stadsboerderij also has a carom billiard table, so if you want to play billiards with the host, that might be one of the possibilities.
